Hi and welcome,

My name is Bill Eaton, and I am a longtime resident of Hudson, NH.

I’ve seen our town change in ways that don’t always seem to benefit those of us who live here. If we want to make a difference, we need to take action now. Doing nothing is not an option. Trust me, I know this firsthand.

I remember when my longtime neighbor of over 20 years sold their house. I received a notice about the lot being subdivided and assumed it was no big deal—probably just another house. I was busy with work and coaching youth sports, so I thought the boards would handle it appropriately.

Then one day, I came home to find three new foundations across from my house. Now, one neighbor runs a noisy business out of his home, and another’s dog barks all night. It was a wake-up call that the variance board and planning board might not always have our best interests at heart.

I started watching the board meetings on cable, but it made me sick to see what was happening. I had to stop watching; it was too upsetting.

Now, there’s a proposal for a gas station near my home, and I’ve decided I can’t sit by and do nothing. We might not have as much influence as the developers, but we have to try. We owe it to ourselves and our community.

Let’s stand together and make our voices heard. It’s time to take action for the sake of our town’s future.

Please join me and let's try to take our town back before it becomes New Jersey.
